It’s been a roller coaster of a week, and I won’t be getting off this ride just yet.
I peed on a FRER this morning. My grim resignation turned to me rubbing my eyes. I couldn’t tell if they were playing tricks on me, or if I saw the faintest hint of a second line. (Plus, the new curved FRER design is notorious for looking like a second line is developing before the control line darkens.)
There is a second line. It’s faint—and much pinker in real life than in the photos—but it’s there. A line is a line is a line.
My beta is on Monday, but this line is enough to get me through the weekend. Hopefully I get an encouraging number so we can start sharing the news with family.

Oh Lauren, I am hopeful for you! I can see the line. I hope you get a great beta result. If it helps at all, I found that the new FRERs really suck. They don’t show lines until much later and when the line does show up, it’s super faint in the beginning. The new “curved handle” ones are just less sensitive in my experience. Best wishes for you and this new little one!
